Innovations in Aging

A unique collaboration between nursing, engineering and business, this course collaboratively addresses the rapidly changing context of aging, evaluating design solutions to often complex and pressing problems while leveraging existing and emerging innovations for attending to this globally increasing and often vulnerable population. Students will be prepared to work and collaborate interprofessionally, explore non-traditional employment related to their discipline, consider entrepreneurship related to meeting the needs of older adults and pursue interprofessional graduate degrees.
