LAW 7182 :
New Jersey Civil Procedure

This course will provide a practical understanding of New Jersey civil procedure so that students will be prepared to represent clients throughout the entire litigation process from standing to sue; personal jurisdiction and service of process; pleadings; discovery rules and pre-trial motions. By the end of the course, students should be able to draft pleadings and discovery that comply with the New Jersey Court Rules, and understand the litigation process leading up to trial.
