Intergroup Dialogue
This course will: (1) offer students the opportunity to gain cross-cultural competency in issues affecting legal professionals; (2) expand students' understanding of how the legal system is impacted by systems of oppression and explore oppression and privilege through dialogue; (3) provide opportunities for personal and professional development by exploring the personal self, and its impact on the professional self and; (4) offer students practical communication and leadership skills that will enhance their interactions with classmates, colleagues, clients, and employers.
This course will have 4 course meetings during the semester. Since the course only meets 4 times, attendance at all class meetings is mandatory.
